Leeland, Michigan Is Following the Footsteps of BHS

Over the summer our high school, Burlington High School, received ipads for each of the 1,200 students. We were required to come to school for about an hour to set up the ipad and then they were ours. We have them until graduation and insurance was an option. After a few weeks, you could tell that breaking them was an issue and many students have had to order new ones only for fifty dollars, which is the deductible. Now, another school in Michigan, Leeland High School has received 1,800 ipads for their students and this is just the start. The school is deciding to trust some elementary kids also by giving a tablet to all students grades 3-12. They use these ipads for all school needs such as homework, classwork, testing, and communication in hope that education will improve.
